Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an avid crafter; Scrapbooking, Cards, ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Art Journaling, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband and son. For exercise I play badminton and I have been Geocaching since 2009 and now and again Pokémon Go. Recently I got back to Ballroom and Latin Dancing too. I run a UK based on-line papercraft group.

Thought I'd try out the snowflake pattern using different hook sizes as suggested.

I used my DK cotton yarn and hook sizes 4mm, 3mm and 2mm.

The 2mm one was rather fiddly but manageable.

I then tried the 2mm hook with some crochet cotton and also a finer cotton and a 1mm hook.

Have to say I couldn't even see the hook part of the 1mm hook! It was more done by feel and I often dropped the stitches!

Definitely challenging with the smallest hook size! Now I really need to get some spray starch and pin out all these new snowflakes.
